About Us

The College and Career Planning Center at Colonie Central High School works to empower students to envision and achieve their future goals through comprehensive resources including classroom activities, applied learning experiences, college and career workshops, industry-related field trips and more! We are dedicated to helping each student navigate the pathways to higher education and career success, fostering skills, confidence, and opportunities for lifelong achievement. By collaborating with educators and community partners, we strive to inspire and equip students to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen fields after Colonie.

Dollars for Scholars (DFS)

Dollars for Scholars is a local organization that raises thousands of dollars each year to support scholarships for Colonie High School students. Learn more about DFS and access the application here.

Additional Scholarship Applications

Printed scholarship applications are available in the Counseling Center lobby. Students can find them in the wall file holders and the rotating file stand.

College-Specific Scholarships

Be sure to visit the financial aid or scholarship webpage of each college you are applying to. Many colleges offer their own scholarships in addition to financial aid packages.
