Vision, Hearing, and Scoliosis Screening
We adhere to New York State requirements by conducting regular screenings for vision, hearing, and scoliosis to identify and address any potential issues promptly.
Our compassionate healthcare professionals offer assistance to students facing physical and emotional challenges, ensuring they receive the care.
In the event of accidents or illness during school hours, our trained staff is ready to provide immediate first aid and medical care, prioritizing the well-being of our students.
We maintain records of immunizations for each student, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
We work in coordination with the District Medical Director to clear students for interscholastic sports participation, ensuring their readiness and safety in athletic endeavors.
State law requires a physical examination by a New York State-licensed physician for new entrants and students entering grades 9 and 11. The state recommends that this physical be performed by the family physician.
If you do not have a physician, we offer the option for students to receive physical examinations required for sports, working papers or new entrants at mandated grade levels through Access Health in Latham. Access Health can be contacted at 518-782-2200.
